Week 8 10 May 2017 DIGITAL Looked the the collaboration of the survey that we all had to answer about Connected Learning in schools.  Learning needs to be meaningful and relevant.  Connecting learners with the world around them and making a meaningful contribution. The concept of Whanau provides the school with a synergy enabling students, teachers family and whanau. Personal Learning Network Independent task, PLN, PLE LEADERSHIP CHANGE: Reviewing schools vision statements.  What are the similarities? Visions Statements looked at.  Common themes include *Confident, empowered lifelong learners Revised Kotters 8-step change model. 1-3 Creating a climate for change 4-6 Engaging and enabling the Whole organisation 7-8 Implementing and sustaining changes

Digital - Blended Learning Flipped Learning - discussions around it.  Do they have a device?  Can they access the learning at home?  How do we ensure the students do the flipped learning before hand?  Flipped learning means nothing other than the complete redesigning of the learning to take place.  Flipped does not have to be digital.  The difference is the way in which you design the intervention.  There is a wide difference in understanding on what the students understand from the task.
